2- Is applying for and will be granted entry clearance on the Scale-up Worker route at the same time.
If you are not married or in a civil partnership with the Scale-up Worker, you must meet the following additional criteria:
3- You must have lived together in a relationship akin to marriage or civil partnership for at least two years before applying.
4- Any previous relationship of either partner must have permanently ended.
5- You must not be closely related in a way that would prevent you from marrying or forming a civil partnership in the UK.
You and your Scale-up Worker partner must intend to live together throughout your stay in the UK.

Relationship Requirement for a Dependent Child of a Scale-up Worker

To qualify as a dependent child, you must be the child of the Scale-up Worker who either:

1- Holds a Scale-up Worker visa, or

2- Is applying for and will be granted entry clearance or permission on the Scale-up Worker route at the same time.

Both parents must either be applying at the same time as the child or already have permission to stay in the UK (other than as a Visitor), unless:

1- The parent applying for or holding a Scale-up Worker visa is the sole surviving parent,

2- That parent has sole responsibility for the child’s upbringing, or

3- The other parent is a British citizen, has the right to enter or stay in the UK without restriction, and is or will be ordinarily resident in the UK.
