The UK Tier 5 Religious Visa UK allows religious workers, including visiting religious workers, to temporarily work as religious workers in the UK for a maximum of 24 months. Thereafter, they are allowed to extend their visa for an additional maximum of 24 months. The religious worker can read to congregations of faith, administer religious rites, and preach.
The applicant needs to have experience in religious pursuits. The sponsor (employer), who must adhere to the UK Immigration regulations, must specify in advance where the activities and obligations will take place. These requirements are: Make a sponsorship certificate available, An assurance that they will take on the sponsorship obligations for the candidate, Support the candidate financially and/or by providing housing, if necessary, and Declare that the applicant won't be turning down a Religious worker job in the UK in this position. All applicants must receive 40 points for the aforementioned requirements in addition to meeting the maintenance requirement. You should be aware that the Tier 5 (Temporary Worker) path does not result in settlement (indefinite leave to remain) in the UK. The Applicants may, however, take on extra job so long as it is in the same field and does not exceed 20 hours per week.
Dependents of Tier 5 Religious Workers are permitted to go to the UK with the primary applicant as long as there is at least £630 available to support each dependent. Within 28 days after the date of the refusal decision, applicants who have their applications rejected under this category are eligible to have the decision reviewed administratively.
