Ontario Provincial Nominee Program

Ontario Province is situated in the heartland of Canada and has earned a worldwide reputation as the most coveted destination for foreign settlers. The program assists Ontario's employers in recruiting skilled, professional, and managerial foreign workers and international students to meet their human resource demands. It is a joint initiative of the Government of Ontario and the federal immigration agency IRCC or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

The Human Capital Program in Ontario

is comprised of several immigration categories that aim to attract candidates who can contribute to the province's workforce. These categories prioritize candidates' skills, experience, and abilities, demonstrating their potential to integrate into Ontario's labor market. Candidates with educational or work experience in Ontario, fluency in both English and French, and those with profiles in the federal Express Entry system may be successful through one of the following categories

The Employer Job Offer Program under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)

Overseas Worker Stream

This stream is for skilled workers who are residing outside Canada and have a valid job offer from an Ontario employer. The job offer must be in a skilled occupation that falls under National Occupational Classification (NOC) Skill Level 0, A, or B.

International Student Stream

This stream is for international students who have completed their studies in Canada and have a valid job offer from an Ontario employer. The job offer must be in a skilled occupation that falls under NOC Skill Level 0, A, or B.t

In-Demand Skills Stream

This stream is for foreign workers with work experience in certain in-demand occupations in Ontario. Candidates must have a valid job offer from an Ontario employer in one of the eligible occupations, which can be found on the OINP website

Ontario's Business Immigration Program

There are three categories under the Business Immigration Program:

Entrepreneur

This category is for entrepreneurs who want to start a new business or buy an existing business in Ontario. Interested candidates must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the OINP, and if selected, they will receive an invitation to apply

Investor (currently closed)

Corporate (currently closed)

This category is for established corporations that are interested in expanding their business to Ontario. This stream is currently closed.

The Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) conducts a draw every month

in which it issues Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates in the Express Entry pool. These candidates are invited to apply for a nomination through one of the OINP streams aligned with Express Entry. The specific methodology and details used for each draw are announced after the draw is held.

What are the requirements for Canada Immigration From Pakistan?

Appropriate Work Experience

Age

Proficiency in Language

Points Calculation for Ontario PNP

To apply for the HCP stream through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), you must score at least 67 points on the OINP Points Grid. The OINP Points Grid evaluates applicants based on factors such as education, work experience, language proficiency, age, etc. After fulfilling the minimum OINP point requirement, you can create your Express Entry profile and submit it to the Express Entry pool. Your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score will then be calculated based on factors such as age, education, language proficiency, work experience, etc. The minimum CRS score required for Ontario PNP is determined by the provincial immigration authorities and can vary with each draw.
