5- Suitability Requirement: The applicant must not be subject to refusal based on the grounds listed in Part 9 of the Immigration Rules.

6- Financial Requirement: The applicant must satisfy the financial criteria set out in Appendix T2 Minister of Religion.

7- Tuberculosis Test Certificate: If required by Appendix T and paragraph A39 of the Immigration Rules, the applicant must provide a valid certificate confirming they have been screened and are free from active pulmonary tuberculosis.

Relationship Requirements for a Dependent Partner of a T2 Minister of Religion

To apply as a dependent partner, the applicant must meet one of the following conditions:
1- The T2 Minister of Religion sponsor currently holds a T2 Minister of Religion visa; or
2- The T2 Minister of Religion sponsor is simultaneously applying for, and is granted, entry clearance under the T2 Minister of Religion route.
If the applicant and their T2 Minister of Religion partner are not married or in a civil partnership, they must meet additional criteria:
1- They must have lived together in a relationship equivalent to marriage or civil partnership for at least two years before the application.
2- Any previous relationships with others must have ended permanently.
3- The applicant and their partner must not be closely related to the extent that they would be prohibited from marrying or forming a civil partnership in the UK.
Additionally, the relationship must be genuine and ongoing, and the couple must intend to live together throughout the applicant’s stay in the UK.

Relationship Requirements for a Dependent Child of a T2 Minister of Religion

To qualify as a dependent child of a T2 Minister of Religion, the applicant must meet the following conditions:
1- The T2 Minister of Religion sponsor must either already have valid permission under the T2 Minister of Religion route or be applying for it simultaneously and be granted permission.
The applicant's parents must either both apply together with the child or already hold permission to be in the UK (excluding Visitor status) unless one of the following exceptions applies:
2- The parent who holds or is applying for T2 Minister of Religion status is the only surviving parent.
3- The parent who holds or is applying for T2 Minister of Religion status has sole responsibility for the child.
4- The other parent, who does not hold T2 Minister of Religion status:
o Is a British citizen or has the right to live in the UK without restriction.
o Is, or will be, ordinarily resident in the UK.
5- There are serious and compelling reasons, as determined by the decision maker, to grant the child permission to stay or enter the UK with the T2 Minister of Religion parent.

Financial Requirements for a T2 Minister of Religion Dependent Visa

The T2 Minister of Religion visa holder or their dependents must have sufficient funds to support themselves while in the UK. The Home Office UKVI Immigration Rules specify the following amounts for maintenance:

Period and Conditions of the Grant

1- A dependent partner will receive a visa that expires on the same date as the T2 Minister of Religion's visa.
2- A dependent child will receive a visa that expires on the same date as the parent's visa that expires first.
The T2 Minister of Religion dependent visa will be subject to these conditions:
3- No access to public funds.
4- Work is allowed (including self-employment and voluntary work) except for employment as a professional sportsperson (including coaching).
5- Study is permitted, with certain conditions under Appendix ATAS if the applicant is over 18.
6- If Part 10 applies, the applicant must register with the police.
