Eligibility Criteria for a Short-Term Study Visa

To qualify for this visa, you must meet the following criteria:

1- Application Submission: Apply from outside the UK, ensuring your application aligns with the Immigration Rules.

2- Age Requirement: You must be 16 years or older.

3- Course Acceptance: Provide proof of acceptance into an English language course lasting 11 months or less, with no other subjects included.

4- Intentions: You must not:

o Enroll in a course longer than 11 months

o Attend an academy or state-funded school

o Make the UK your main residence

o Work or engage in business or professional activities in the UK

o You must plan to leave the UK within 30 days after your course ends or after 11 months, whichever is sooner.

5- Accredited Institution: Your course must be with an accredited institution, which can be:

o A UK institution with a student sponsor license or valid accreditation from organizations such as Accreditation UK or the British Accreditation Council

o An eligible overseas provider if you’re studying as part of an overseas course.

If studying at an overseas higher education institution, ensure:

7- No more than half of your course is conducted in the UK

8- The programme is equivalent to a UK degree
