This application is made in line with the requirements set out
in Appendix Student of the Immigration Rules.
To succeed in your application, it is crucial that the Entry Clearance Officer (ECO) is convinced that you
are a genuine student. The assessment of your genuineness will consider several factors, such as your
qualifications, work experience, any gaps in education and explanations for those gaps, your
understanding of the course and institution, and your reasons for choosing them. Many student visa
applications are refused after the ECO conducts a visa interview and finds the applicant's responses
insufficient to prove their genuineness. It is essential to be well-prepared for such an interview to ensure
that your application is not jeopardized by this factor.
